WIND Mobile is a Canadian wireless telecommunication provider operated by Globalive Communications. They operate mainly in the Southern Ontario region with additional coverage in some parts of Western Canada.

The WINDipedia project was implemented with the plan help expedite retrieval of information required by the customer service channel. The application also provided contributors a channel to manage information as well as target the information to different roles.
