Executive summary
Sym-Tech introduced a new Office 365 intranet to bring internal communication, business-unit collaboration, and selected employee workflows into a more coherent digital workplace.
My role
I led requirements sessions, created custom web parts, branding, and workflows, designed the information architecture and taxonomy, and developed governance and security strategies.
Approach
- Built a branded SharePoint 2013 publishing experience for the corporate intranet.
- Delivered targeted content and collaboration spaces for business divisions.
- Automated multi-level vacation and expense-report approvals.
- Created a new information architecture and migrated content into it.
- Connected the platform design to a broader Office 365 communications strategy.
Outcome
The program provided a more usable and governed internal platform for communication, collaboration, and routine employee processes.
