Executive summary
The Human Resources Professionals Association modernized its public website to align with a new visual direction, improve accessibility, and update the underlying publishing platform.
My role
I facilitated requirements sessions, completed a content audit, defined the authoring process, trained content authors, supported user-acceptance testing and maintenance, and configured development, QA, and UAT environments in Microsoft Azure.
Approach
- Implemented responsive layouts using Bootstrap.
- Designed term-based navigation to make a large information set easier to explore.
- Built to WCAG/AODA Level AA accessibility requirements.
- Connected the site to member and event-management systems.
- Prepared content authors to maintain the experience after launch.
Outcome
The modernization gave HRPA a more accessible, responsive website and a clearer operating model for ongoing content updates.
