Executive summary
Honda moved a sensitive financial-reporting distribution site into SharePoint 2013, improving both report consumption and the secure production and distribution process behind it.
My role
I facilitated discovery and requirements, defined the information architecture and taxonomy, and managed budget, resourcing, timeline, and scope.
Approach
- Used document tagging to route reports automatically.
- Enabled filtering by reporting period and supported bulk upload and download.
- Designed the experience around the security and sensitivity of financial distribution.
- Improved the usability of both publishing and consuming reports.
Outcome
The new SharePoint experience created a more governed and usable way to distribute sensitive financial reports.
