Executive summary
Honda replaced a legacy change-management repository with a SharePoint 2013 solution integrated with its existing Magic workflow platform.
My role
I facilitated discovery, led requirements gathering and documentation, defined the information architecture and taxonomy, and managed budget, resourcing, timeline, and scope.
Approach
- Connected SharePoint to Magic to trigger repository creation and synchronization.
- Designed permission and state-management patterns around the existing workflow process.
- Created an interface for uploading documents associated with a change.
- Structured the repository so change documentation could be managed consistently.
Outcome
The work created a modern, governed home for change-management records while preserving the integration points needed by the existing operating process.
