Executive summary

The Canadian Bankers Association needed to improve its SharePoint 2013 intranet while bringing greater consistency to its internal sites. The work combined a refreshed visual system, a clearer taxonomy, and a shared activity calendar.

My role

I led discovery and scoping, designed page layouts and a custom master page, configured the SharePoint environment, and defined the security approach.

Approach

  • Established a consistent visual language across the intranet sites.
  • Introduced a taxonomy to make information easier to organize and find.
  • Developed an activity calendar to make organizational activity more visible.
  • Aligned page design and security configuration with the association’s operating needs.

Outcome

The enhanced intranet provided a more coherent branded experience and a stronger foundation for internal communication and content management.
